惠州梅菜产销有限公司成立于1997年12月,注册资金300万元,主要从事梅菜种植、加工、销售的出口加工型民营企业。公司下设梅菜加工厂、腌制加工场、销售门市、流动销售车,自办无公害惠州梅菜种植示范基地。与华南农业大学合作,用6个耕作年十多次实验,对加工工艺作重大改进,使惠州梅菜由腌制而成,改为经三泡、三晒、三闷发酵而成,并由此解开惠州梅菜营养健康之迷。因为它是发酵品,由广东省科技厅组织专家鉴定,专家一致认为是现代健康食品,多食梅菜少生病,有病食梅菜早康复!
  与华南理工大学开发的低盐即食梅菜,使惠州梅菜从传统高盐难以食用走向即食即用,系列梅菜罐头产品荣登国际联锁超市大雅之堂。项目经省科技厅组织专家鉴定,是惠州梅菜产业化、国际化的里程碑,项目被科技部列入国家星火计划。产品填补了市场空白,参加2001年中国国际农博会展出,被授予“名牌产品”称号。
  公司现已开发出梅菜鲮鱼和扣肉罐头、即食、即用精加工梅菜产品10多个品种,年加工量3000吨,产品主要销往广州、深圳、东莞、佛山、中山、南海等泛珠三角国内市场和东南亚及欧美国际市场。公司在激烈的市场竞争中不断增强企业的应变能力和竞争实力,取得了良好的社会效益和经济效益。 “祯州牌”梅菜被评为广东省名牌产品,通过了农业部无公害农产品认证,“祯州牌”商标被认定为广东省著名商标。
  惠州梅菜产业化、国际化是在保持传统风味的基础上,配鱼、配肉、即食即用。为了将惠州梅菜配制最好的肉,公司对有国宝之称的品牌猪——“蓝塘猪”,进行开发,建立蓝塘猪标准化生产基地,项目经广东省质量技术监督局批准在紫金县蓝塘镇实施;并注册“蓝塘猪”商标,以蓝塘猪肉配梅菜,(有名花配仙女之称)。用十年时间,年屠宰百万头蓝塘猪配梅菜,速冻配送到泛珠三角市场,销售额可达数十亿元,产业链价值可达数百亿元。
  2005年4月,由惠州市供销社牵头,广东省农业龙头企业——广东祯州集团有限公司发起成立惠州市梅菜产销协会,祯州集团董事长薛子光任首届协会会长。协会成立以来,在申请注册“惠州梅菜”集体商标及“惠州梅菜”原产地保护,为惠州梅菜取得绿色食品认证等方面做了大量的工作,为将“惠州梅菜”打造成国际品牌奠定良好基础,为惠州梅菜产业的健康发展起到了积极的推进作用。

In co-operation with the South China Agricultural University, the processing technology has been significantly improved after six years of hard work and more than a dozen experiments, replacing the curing with fermentation through pickling, solarizing and sealing three times respectively in the manufacture of Meicai, and unveiling the secret of healthy nutritious ingredients of Huizhou Meicai thereby. Since it is fermented, it was considered as a modern healthy food by all experts on the expert appraisal organized by the Department of Science & Technology of Guangdong Province; eating Meicai could reduce diseases and eating it helps you recover from diseases.
  Low-salt instant Meicai which was jointly developed with the South China University of Technology has turned Meicai from the traditional high-salt food hard for consumption into a fast and instant food; the canned series of Meicai have stepped on the shelves of top-class international supermarket chains. The project has been appraised by experts organized by the Department of Science & Technology of Guangdong Province and is a milestone in the industrialization process of Huizhou Meicai; the project has been list as the National Spark Program too. The product has filled up the market gap; it was awarded the honor of "Famous Products" when being exhibited on the China international Agricultural Fair in 2001.
  The company has developed finely processed Meicai products such as the canned Meicai cirrhinus and steamed pork, as well as more than a dozen varieties of instant Meicai products, the annual process capacity is 3,000 tons; the products are mainly sold to domestic markets in Pan-Pearl River Delta, such as Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Dongguan, Foshan, Zhongshan and Nanhai, as well as international markets in the Southeast Asia, Europe and America.
